Barrier fence at Rochester’s new station.
Torino-33 fencing was engineered to meet Network Rail’s requirements for a barrier fence at Rochester’s new station.
The brief was to supply fencing which met a crowd loading specification while providing an uninterrupted view of the town’s historic buildings.
The Torino fence panel was specially made with the standard 10x2mm horizontal bar replaced by a single deeper section of bar at the loading point.
Rochester and Strood MP, Kelly Tolhurst commented, “It’s great being able to stand on the platform and look at Rochester Castle and cathedral.”
