Virginia Quay, East London Docks
Roma-3 fencing was chosen for its rigidity and durability to surround the boundary of a green space within a housing development at Virginia Quay in East London’s Poplar area, close to the Canary Wharf business district.
The 1200mm high Roma-3 fence borders a large community park and also provides a separate, enclosed space for toddlers with controlled access. An additional 1800mm high fenced section surrounds two playparks within the landscaped area for slightly older children.
The grating panels and posts were hot-dip galvanized and then polyester powder coated for low maintenance and excellent resistance to corrosion. Both tubular and flat bar posts were chosen for different parts of the project.
