Innovative new project for Italia-80 wall cladding

A new project for Italia-80 wall cladding has achieved a fantastic result. Approximately 1000 square meters of galvanized louvred panels create a dramatic contrast with the brightly coloured fascia cladding, glass and reinforced concrete.

In addition, the technical demands of the project required the development of a new technique for fixing the steel louvred panels. In order to achieve the closest possible fixing, on one elevation the panels were hung  through a slotted plate directly onto a hooked bracket attached to the substructure. On the other elevations, where there was a requirement for through ventilation, the panels were attached in the traditional way to a steel framework.
