New urban landscape at the Zig Zag Building
The Zig Zag Building and Kings Gate House are adjacent office and residential buildings on Victoria Street in the London Borough of Westminster. The award-winning project by Lynch Architects was built to incorporate restaurants, bars and shops within a new public realm.
New passageways have been created around the buildings; the unusual care which was taken in the design of this urban landscape by Vogt and BDP is reflected in both the planting of trees and the installation of art works.
Lang+Fulton have supplied 132m2 of open mesh grating panels with a 15x88mm mesh and 70x3mm bearing bar which was recommended to accommodate a heavy vehicle loading at the required 1910mm span.
