Construction of Rochester Station
An important element in the construction of Rochester’s new railway station is the pedestrian underpass, which links the historic town centre to the riverside.
In addition to fencing and balustrading at the station, Lang+Fulton supplied Quattro-33 steel panels as a ceiling cladding. These were used both internally and externally: to clad the concrete underpass ceiling and to add a decorative finish by concealing the exposed services within the station complex.
Main Contractors: Atkins, Spencer Rail and Balfour Beatty
Client: Network Rail
