Chelmsford Sports Centre - Italia-100 fence
The Sport and Athletics Centre at Chelmsford has been transformed into a training centre for elite athletes and a permanent home for Chelmsford City FC. It is also major venue for athletic events. The final phase of this significant investment included the improvement of the boundary fencing.
Lang+Fulton were asked to supply a 1600mm high Italia-100 fence from their range of louvred fencing to meet the architect’s brief for a durable, cost-effective, 100% visual screening solution.
The fencing was mounted on a 850mm brick wall so that fans would be unable to watch matches without purchasing tickets and was supplied in a galvanized and polyester coated finish.
The Club has reported that it is delighted with the result.
