STEREO-KINETICĀ® Wall used to create Waterfall Installation

A new Energy from Waste facility has been built in Dundee to provide a long term treatment solution for residual waste that canā€™t be composted or recycled, minimising the amount of waste that is sent to landfill. The process has the added benefit of generating electricity as well the potential to provide heat.

MVV Environment have constructed the state of the art plant which uses up to 110,000 tonnes of municipal, commercial and industrial waste as fuel for the generation of usable energy.

To minimise the impact of the new structure MVV commissioned an installation of STEREO-KINETICĀ® Wall. The 23 metre high artwork represents a waterfall using blue and silver stainless steel tiles suspended on 24 panels and was designed in collaboration with the Public Art Department of Dundee City Council.
