The Centre MSCP Livingston in Scotland.
Livingston boasts one of the largest indoor shopping and leisure complexes in Scotland.
After major refurbishment and development The Centre was recently reopened as a contemporary-styled, modern complex, accommodating over 155 retail units occupying 1 million sq ft.
As part of the redevelopment, a new 3-storey car park was constructed, providing 1500 spaces. Lang+Fulton supplied screening panels and balustrading from their range of pressure-locked gratings.
The pressure-locked panels for ground level and surrounding the access ramp were made from DemiAlto to a bespoke aperture of 55x154cm with a 40x2mm bearing bar and 10x2mm transverse bar.
The robust balustrading for the upper floors and roof-top was made from Alto-44, a cross-pressed grating with equal flat bars. The Alto-44 grating has an aperture of 44x132mm and was made from flat bars with a 30x3mm section to create a strong visual statement.
