Flooring Solution for Elevated Walkway at Fettes College in Edinburgh
The new Spens Building at Fettes College in Edinburgh successfully integrates modern architecture within a historic setting. The £18m project faced several challenges nestled between the existing A-listed buildings, combining new-build, refurbishment and adaption.
An external walkway provides a link between a classroom block and Art studios and the new Music school sited within the fabric of the former science building. AntiVertigo panels were chosen for the flooring providing a non-transparent elevated bridge which has self-draining and anti-slip properties.
