Bilston Urban Village project, concept of a Garden City

Ambitious plans for the Bilston Urban Village project include the construction of over 1000 homes within the concept of a Garden City.  A network of 7.5 hectares of open space will form a spine through the centre of the village incorporating a new park at Nettlefolds.

The Nettlefolds Park has created a 35-acre conservation and recreation area with connecting paths that link existing and new housing. It provides scenic walking and cycling routes and an area to attract wildlife with a pond to collect floodwater.

The park has been delineated by 260 linear metres of Torino-33 perimeter fencing. The modular 1200mm high fence panels were supplied with flat bar posts in a durable hot-dip galvanized finish for low maintenance and maximum longevity. Square corner posts and end posts at pedestrian entrances together with a 4-metre wide single leaf gate complete the contract.
