Italia-100 compounds at Award Winning New Hospital
Lang+Fulton conducted a full site survey and proposed the supply of 2200mm-high Italia-100 compounds and fencing to provide the required level of security and 100% visual screening at the new Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary. The final contract included a variety of installations
- A 36.5x16m compound surrounding the generator plant
- Compounds to secure two oxygen storage sites
- A compound enclosing a service area
- A length of fencing to screen the mortuary entrance
The louvred compounds and fencing reflected and enhanced the architectural vision for the hospital, which has received numerous awards. The attention to detail and quality of the Lang+Fulton products, combined with practicality, were in line with the ethos that had been set out for the entire project, which was completed on time and on budget.
